Every new associate starts here. We call you the morning of every shift to confirm you’re going. We help with directions, ride questions, and any first-day issues. Get through five workdays without a no-call, no-show, and you graduate.

STAGE 02 · DAYS 6–35

Going Straight Out

Once you’ve proven five reliable days, you “go straight out.” We trust you to head directly to the job site — no morning check-in needed. Better placements open up. Steady hours. Higher-paying assignments.

STAGE 03 · DAY 36+

Full Trust Status

After 30+ days going straight out, you reach our highest level of trust. You’re working with the supervisor directly, like any full-time employee. We’d rather lose you to a great job than keep you forever as a temp.

The Founder Story

Chris Rickerson started Elite Staffing Solutions in 2013 by hauling bricks up a scaffolding for $8 an hour. He was a single father of three, fresh off years he doesn’t hide from — high school dropout, drug addiction, time with the law. He maxed his credit cards, sold a car, and refinanced his minivan to keep daycare paid while he built the business.

The Foundation

What changed everything was finding Christianity. The verse that did it — Matthew 7:24:

“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.”

That one verse changed everything. Up to that point, Chris had built his life on sand — every storm wiped him out. Now, he had a foundation. Faith gave him the rock. Everything that came after — the work ethic, the company, the way Elite Staffing Solutions operates today — was built on top of it.

Chris built ESS to be the kind of staffing company he needed when he was the guy hauling bricks. We hire people who are willing to work — including people other staffing companies won’t talk to. Single parents. People with records. People who hit a rough stretch and need someone to give them a shot.

The slogan when Chris started was three words: “Putting service back into staffing.” It still is.

What We Expect
From You

We’re honest about this up front, because it saves everyone time. Elite has high standards because our clients have high standards.

Show Up.

A no-call, no-show on day one ends that placement. Two no-call, no-shows in a two-week period ends our work relationship. We’re not flexible on this — and reliable workers tell us they appreciate that.

Bring Valid ID.

Two forms of government-issued ID, every time. We’re required to verify employment eligibility (E-Verify) for every placement.

Be Ready to Work.

Dress like you’re going to a job site. Boots if you have them. The walk-in counter intake takes about an hour — and you may be sent to a job the same day.

Have the Right Attitude.

We can train almost anyone to do almost any job. Attitude is the one thing we can’t fix. Show up ready to work, treat people well, and we’ll keep finding you placements.
